First semester at CETARS Program

CETARS Project:

Columns packed with magnetite nanocrystals for the adsorption of arsenic.

Outreach Activities:

By part of CETARS program I will be participating in training workshops to visits to public schools in outreach activities. We begin a series of workshops to train with the Globe program. The activities related to CETARS included resume writing workshops, internships webinars, globe program workshops, vegetable garden workshops, poster and oral research presentations. As part of Dr. Oscar J. Perales Nanomaterials Research Group, I had to assist CREST outreach seminars.

In addition, to these outreach activates I will be presenting of my research project at PR-LSAMP, the largest student scientific meeting held in Puerto Rico. The last summer attend to AICHE Annual Meeting at Minnesota.
